iTunes opens doors to indie video producers
according to Variety.com, iTunes is now offering video which hasn't come from established networks, studios or distributors i.e. from independent producers, for the first time.
who knows where THIS could go? :)
take a look around, and you'll see a lot of YouTube, mobile video; video easily captured and distributed all over the web. over time, devices will become good enough to allow full-speed internet access- supporting real-time streaming video. this is just ONE aspect of the wireless story :)
but film-makers without producers out there, worry not! this could be a new distribution model, one which doesn't require any mr.moneybags by your side. but then, neither would you be able to offer any larger-than-life effects of the big-screen experience. so the emphasis could shift again back on the simple basics- the story, the characters!
This film btw, is supposed to be a snowboarding action pic..
